　　In the first week of the Mr World 2007 competition, the contestants have gone through a busy schedule involving welcome functions, martial arts training, water and endurance sports testing, a fashion show, and much, much more.

　　However, that doesnt stop the boys from playing and having a good time in the evenings especially when its a contestants birthday.

　　Within two days both Philippines and Costa Rica had their birthdays, and their new found mates ensured that they were days to be remembered.

　　Philippines day stated off very well, as he received best wishes from the Shaolin monks while visiting the Nan Chan temple and taking part in a special Kung Fu demonstration. On his return in the evening the guys had prepared a special birthday cake presentation, after which they took the birthday boy to the bar for a few well earned drinks.

　　Philippines: It was a great day spending my birthday with my new found friends. I am from a big family and it was strange to be apart but these guys made up for that. It was also a big surprise when the Master came to give me his best wishes.

　　As it turned midnight, attention turned to Costa Rica. For the second time within 24 hours, the boys started singing happy birthday, and celebrations lasted until the early hours. The next morning the birthday boy spent time on the beach before enjoying another cake and celebrations with his mates.

　　Costa Rica: They organised a great birthday for Philippines and me. Such cool guys and great party-l overs. I had a wicked time.
